Richard Brownstein was born in Los Angeles, California, on June 29, 1930.  He attended Reed College and received his LL.B. from Willamette University in 1953.

Bar Memberships:
Dick was admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 1953.

Awards, Honors and Memberships:  
Dick was a Colonel in the JAGC of the U.S. Army Reserves from 1948 to 1981. From 1986 to 1988 he was the President of the Housing and Development Law Institute. Dick is a member of the Multnomah County Bar Association and the Oregon State Bar.
