Matthew is an experienced trial lawyer and practices in the firm's Longshore Act and personal injury practice groups. Matthew has had more than a dozen jury trials and has been successful in obtaining favorable verdicts in the majority of those trials. He has extensive experience in the courtroom and is an integral litigation asset for the firm's clients.

Before joining Brownstein Rask, Matthew worked primarily as a criminal defense attorney and has worked for the Metropolitan Public Defenders and the Federal Defenders, as well as being in private practice.
