Doug is a founding member of the firm and presently serves as the firm's Managing Partner. He has primarily served as the corporate lawyer for many of the firm's clients. Doug's depth of experience allows for our business clients to have immediate access to a wealth of legal knowledge at all times. The areas in which he primarily practices include business and corporate law, real estate, and estate planning. Included in Doug's business and corporate practice are formation of business entities, mergers and acquisitions, and all matters related to business operations. His real estate practice includes sales, purchases, leases, and any other real estate related legal services. His work in estate planning includes wills, trusts, and associated tax planning.

Doug has served on several Oregon State Bar Committees, the Local Professional Responsibility Committee, and is a member of bar sections that are applicable to his practice. He also has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Oregon State Bar Professional Liability Fund and served as its chairman.
